The church at Ephesus was doing all the right things, but they had lost their passion for Jesus
1. When was your love for Jesus at its strongest and most passionate? What were some of the things you were doing during that time?
2. In your relationship with Jesus, do you feel that your love for Him has changed from how it was in the beginning?
3. Have you ever had a time in your life when everything seemed to be going well, but you felt far from Jesus?
4. What does it tell you about God's priorities that he would allow a doctrinally sound church to disappear based on their lack of passion?
5. What are some things you can begin to return to or change your mind about in order to love Jesus again like you once did?
Return to what you did when you loved Him most. Pick a couple of things you used to do and begin to do those again this week.
Revelation 2:4-5 Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.
