DESCRIPTION

X-Ray vision, super speed, flight. As kids we imagined a world filled with heroes with supernatural powers that saved the day and made the world better.

But superpowers and heroes aren't something to be relegated to childhood fantasy. Being a hero and changing the world is only a choice away.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1. Our culture tends to fixate on villains, on what’s wrong, rather than heroes. Why do you think that is? Why do we fixate on what is broken and ignore the stories of the heroic?

2. A hero is someone whose life makes another life better. Who do you know that fits that definition? What about them, or what have have they done, that has made them a hero?

3. How has the encouragement of others marked you?

4. Is there anyone in your life that you need to encourage/invite to the table?
