TITHING

Tithing is our foundation of giving. The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving: the tithe. When we give the first 10% of our income to the church, we put God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What forms of payment are accepted online?

Giving using your bank account info is the best method. Mastercard, VISA, Discover, and American Express are welcomed as payment methods, but cards usually charge our church a merchant fee.

Can I review my giving history online?

Yes, click on the GIVE ONLINE button, login with your username, and you will be able to view the complete history of your online giving. Please note, the records for any gifts given in person or mailed to the church are not currently available online. We are working on a solution that will allow you to do this soon!

Is Pushpay safe?

Yes. Credit card details are tokenized and are stored off your device on industrial grade servers where this information is then encrypted. The security setup Pushpay has implemented is the same setup as most banks and is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. For this reason, Pushpay is considered significantly more secure than many current offerings including actually having a credit card physically present.

What if I lose my phone?

If your phone is lost, even if you are logged into Pushpay, no transactions can be made without your passcode. You can also freeze your account by logging into Pushpay.com with your registered email and password and choosing the Freeze My Account option.

Am I required to receive an SMS text message to be able to activate my account on my phone?

No, you are not required to receive an activation code if you are only sending a one-time gift. If you wish to setup a recurring gift, an activation code is required to link your device to your account. If you cannot receive an SMS but want to setup a recurring gift, you can call toll-free 844-PUSHPAY (844-787-4729).
