At The Creek, we believe circles are better than rows. Real life change and community happen in a group. It's impossible to grow your faith apart from relationships.
God designed us to need relationships with others in order to be our best. Creek Groups are designed to help you develop those relationships with others who will help you grow closer to Jesus and take your next steps.
At The Creek, we're trying to make it easier for you to find people who share your interest. We know that when you get together with people and have fun you'll begin to grow into a strong community that serves and grows together. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren't always easy to find. That's why small groups exist — to make these life-changing relationships easily accessible to you.
Each small group is a little different. Some do special studies while others discuss that week's message. Many groups meet in homes and enjoy meals together. Others meet somewhere in the community or at one of our church buildings.
Leading a small group isn’t about being perfect; it’s about serving others by giving them a place to connect. Hosting a group is simple — choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet with others to share it. We give you essential tools to make your small group successful through Leader Training and a directory where you can register your group so others can find it easily. We believe people’s lives are changed one semester at a time, and as a small group leader you get to play an important role in that process.
