In the face of seemingly impossible odds, what defined this hero was courageous endurance. He didn't simply run with men, he ran with the horses.

1. In the time of Jeremiah, truth had been compromised and love had become conditional. How do our own times mirror the days of Jeremiah?

2. Jeremiah's superpower was courageous endurance. How do you think he managed to do what he did in the midst of persecution, hardship, and destruction that characterized his age?

3. God has a plan. You are a part of it. Jeremiah knew his purpose and that fueled his resolve. How does knowing your purpose further your ability to endure? What is your purpose in this season?

4. When Jeremiah was doubting his purpose, God replied, "If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?" In light of all you are currently facing, how does God's response challenge you?
